Henry Co Tourism Commission

The EDC team also operates as Henry County Destination Development (HCDD). The purpose of Henry County Destination Development is to attract travelers and enrich visitor experiences. It’s also about making a better place to live for the people who call Henry County, Indiana, home. The website HoopsInHenry.com is the primary hub for tourism information for Henry County, Indiana.

In this capacity, the EDC/HCDD serves as the staff to the Henry County Tourism Commission through a professional services contract. The Tourism Commission is an advisory board that promotes visitor attraction and the expansion of Henry County tourism efforts, contributing to the local economy. The Henry County Tourism Commission manages the funds from Henry County’s Innkeepers Tax. This is the 5% tax paid by individuals staying in our hotels and Marketplace Facilitators (i.e. Airbnb).
