“Welcome to Spiceland” greets all entering the main entrance at Draper, Inc.
The blue sign is a replica of one that hung at the Train Depot on the Lake Erie & Western Railroad in the late 1800s. Beyond the history of the sign, which is neat, this prominent display, says Draper is proud of their location.
Spiceland (and Henry County) are blessed to have Draper as a corporate citizen and excellent employer.
Draper is family owned and employs over 650 people in Spiceland and over 700 people worldwide. They sell products in over 100 foreign countries. This is a classic example of how exporting helps the local economy.
